I've watched families get robbed on collections. Someone spends a lifetime building something real, and when it's time to sell, it goes for a fraction of its worth because nobody had the time or the system to do it right.
Nikolas Palchikoff, Founder
04. PERSPECTIVE

Stop selling it for pennies.

When a collection lands with you, whether you built it, inherited it, or it came across your estate-sale table, you have three doors. Sit on it. Dump it as one box for a fraction of what it's worth. Or hand it off to someone who keeps a cut.

The people who treat collections like an asset class are the ones buying them from you. NJP Assets exists so the person who owns the collection is the one who gets paid what it's worth.

05. OUR STRUCTURE

It was never the market. It was the labor.

What finally let me move sitting or unlisted inventory was never the market, it was the labor. Listing a thousand items used to take months, so the whole collection went out the door as one box for a fraction of what it was worth. My system lists a thousand items in a few hours instead of months, across any kind of inventory.

Whether you run the system yourself, run it with me, or want a different arrangement entirely, that's what the call is for.

06. ENGAGEMENT

Three movements.

The call comes first. Everything after it depends on what you've got.

01 / Phase One

Book the call

Thirty minutes, free, with Nik. Tell me what you're sitting on. You leave with a straight answer on what you have and what I'd do with it.

STEP // 01
02 / Phase Two

We map it

If it makes sense to work together, we map the collection: what's in it, what sells, what it's worth, and in what order.

STEP // 02
03 / Phase Three

You run it

We install the system and I stay until it runs without me. How much I do and how much you do is decided on the call, not on this page.

07. PHILOSOPHY

Paper is an asset.

Paper that people want holds its value. A card, a note, a stamp that thousands of collectors are looking for is worth what the last one sold for, and there is a public record of that sale. That's the whole thesis.

08. STEWARDSHIP

QUESTIONS

Before you book.

What does this cost?

The call is free. What comes after depends on the collection and on how much of it you want me to do; that's exactly what the call is for.

Do you buy collections?

No. NJP Assets doesn't buy your collection for cash. We help you sell it, or turn it into a business. How we work together is decided on the call.

What if my collection isn't worth much?

Then I'll tell you on the call, and you'll have saved yourself a lot of guessing.

How do I know you're not like the last guy?

If I can't help you, I'll tell you up front — that's the whole point of a free call. No pitch, no pressure, just a straight look at what you've got.

I run an estate-sale company. Is this for me?

Yes. When a collection crosses your table you have three doors: sit on it, dump it, or hand it off for a cut. The call is about a fourth one.

Do I need to know what I have before the call?

No. Bring what you know. Photos help.
